Unity or Oneness is not just theoretical yet; all human beings live in duality and experience separation only consciousness which causes suffering in different forms. We believe that in order to be an individual, we must be in duality only. As a result, we separate ourselves from everything, including our families, friends, groups, nations and the earth. This belief in separation only consciousness is experienced as pain, fear and disease. This process of separating goes on creating more pain and illusion until the negative loop is seen through in personal healing work. Our work is about claiming and embodying all aspects of self. The process of awakening is the task of the incarnated soul. Awakening means being in relationship with all aspects of Reality. Each event, each situation that arises within the life of the individual is used very specifically to awaken, to bring attention to the soul's longing, the soul's essence, to claim and embody all aspects of self and bring compassion and mercy around all situations, for everything that exists is holy. Sometimes we are unwilling or unable, be it through resistance, thought, statement, action or deed, to face the world to be awake, so we hide and align with fear in duality-only consciousness. Sometimes we face ourselves, our lives being present with the suffering and joy we experience, and it breaks our hearts open, open meaning without exception. We experience deep acceptance of life then letting the darkness illuminate for God exists here. Awakening brings us deeper into relationship with split off aspects of the world, ourselves, and we shatter. What we experience at that time as "wholeness" shatters, opening us up to larger paradigms of wholeness. We can then begin to embrace all of our struggles, our pain, and our joy--ourselves. This then is healing-Tikkun (rectification). We then know and trust that we do not keep the World together and paradoxically because we are literally made of the same substance of the world, of God, we are the whole Universe. Awakening is being able to view one's life through the eyes of God as well as through human eyes. This is the unitive state, which includes duality. Ultimately, awaking is becoming more human and learning to share our humanity with others.
